Here’s a question I’ll ask of those interested in opening a dispensary, in MN: Is a dispensary risk that much different than a liquor store? The answer is yes. It’s actually a better risk than a liquor store! Think about it, the state of MN requires things like video monitoring, upgraded lighting around the store, and all cannabis products to be locked and secured. A dispensary is a better risk than a liquor store. Insurance companies are slowly figuring this out and both pricing and options are starting to reflect this.
